Ok, that was a joke guys. I really love the show. I was bored and started perusing through MySoju because I needed to look for more Japanese environment stuffs. Lo and behold, they had 電車男 sitting there.
I started watching it because I’d heard of the story before but I never understood any of it. I’d seen it all over blogs about Japan and stuff (Tae Kim!) but it was too above my level to understand what was going on. Granted, the drama has English subtitles but it’s good practice anyway.
I may be a bit behind the times (this story took place like 3 years ago), but it’s still a great story to watch. It gives hope to ヲタク like me. I’m middleways through episode 9 right now and shall finish it up as my first New Year’s resolution.
Even more heartwarming is it’s supposedly based on a true story.
